What cookies are
Cookies are small files your browser stores so a website can remember information between visits. Readioma uses a small number of cookies, listed below.
Cookies we use
- Authentication session: keeps you signed in. Required for the service to work. Set by Better Auth and expires when your session ends.
- Language preference (readioma_visited_lang): remembers the language you chose so we can skip the language picker on later visits.
- Theme preference: remembers whether you picked light or dark mode.
- Cookie consent (readioma_cookie_consent): records that you've seen this banner. Expires after one year.
- Anonymous analytics: Vercel Analytics records aggregated page views. It does not use cookies for identification by default.
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Managing cookies
You can clear cookies in your browser settings at any time. Clearing the authentication cookie will sign you out. Clearing the language and theme cookies will reset those preferences.

If we add new categories of cookies, we'll update this page and, where required, ask for your consent.
